Patches overview
A sound patch contains sound setting data for a track, and an EFX
patch contains EFX setting data.
Sound ptach
On each of the 8 tracks, you can load a preset sound patch or a
sound patch that you yourself created.
The original data of the sound patch is copied to the pattern, so
editing the sound patch in the pattern does not aect the original
data.
If you want to use the edited sound in another pattern or project,
please save it as a new sound patch. ( → P.132)
EFX pacth
In each pattern, you can load a preset EFX patch or a sound patch
that you yourself created.
EFX patches operate globally, so if you save over the same EFX
patch, the changes will be applied to all patterns and drum kits.
If you want to avoid this, please save your EFX settings as a new EFX
patch. ( → P.84)
DrumKit overview
A DrumKit is a combination of the sound settings for each of the 8
tracks and the current EFX settings.
By loading a DrumKit, you can quickly set the sound and EFX settings
of a pattern.
Saving a pattern will not update the DrumKit parameters. These need
to be saved separately.
The CyDrums can save up to 128 kits.
