Saving and Managing Patterns
Saving patterns with EFX patch
By pressing the Auxiliary Right button on the PATTERN SAVE
menu, you can set whether or not to save the EFX patch parameters
when you execute the pattern save.
PATTERN SAVE
PTN
Only the pattern is saved.
Any EFX parameters you have set will not be
saved.
PTN&EFX
Saves both the pattern and any edited EFX patch
parameters.
If no EFX patch is selected for the pattern—i.e., if the EFX patch is
set to "(NONE)"—the EFX PATCH SAVE screen will be displayed after
you complete the steps described above.
Press STEP to select a EFX patch to store and press
OK
button.
(STEP 1 for EFX patch 1… STEP 16 for EFX patch 16)
• EFX patches operate globally.
Thus, if you overwrite an EFX patch, the changes will be applied
to all patterns and drum kits that use the EFX patch.
