CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning,
unplug the appliance
from the electric outlet.
2. Never immerse the
appliance in water or any
other liquid nor rinse it
under the tap. Only use
a moist cloth to clean the
upper section (Figure 1).
3. Clean the upper
section of the appliance
with a moist cloth only.
The lower section only
can be cleaned under
running water (Figure 4).
Warning: Ensure to avoid
the running water into the
housing from the button
and the upper cape.
Warning: DO NOT not
immerse the blender
unit directly or fully in the
water or any liquid and
DO NOT not clean it in a
dish washer.
4. When processing
foods with a high
pigment content (e.g
carrots), the plastic parts
of the appliance may
become discolored.
Wipe these positions
with vegetable oil before
cleaning them.
5. If food is not easily
rinsed off the blade,
place a drop of
dishwasher detergent
in the mixing container
with water. Plug cord into
electric outlet. Immerse
the blade end portion
and operate the unit
for about 10 seconds.
Unplug, rinse under
running water, and then
dry.
6. When you will not
use it for a long time,
keep this appliance well
ventilated to prevent the
motor of appliance is
affected with dampness
or humidity.
