WEATHER OVERLAY
Follow these troubleshooting steps if weather overlays do not display or only
portions of the overlay works.
1. If the vehicle has a cell modem, ensure the RIDE COMMAND+ subscription
is active.
2. Confirm the data you are looking for is part of a supported location. RIDE
COMMAND+ is only available in North America at this time.
3. Confirm the vehicle is running the latest software.
4. Confirm the vehicle is running the latest map package.
5. Check that the overlay is on. The toggle/slide for weather overlay may reset
after reboot.
6. Confirm the vehicle is in an area with good cell signal. The vehicle must be in
an area with a clear view of the sky and away from structures.
• Navigate to General Settings, System Information, Cellular Modem,
then RSSI. Any value above 0% should be enough cell signal to load
online searches.
• Try enabling traffic overlay on the map. If traffic overlay displays, cell
signal is good. If traffic overlays do not display, try another location.
7. Confirm privacy settings are not blocking weather overlays.
8. On the map, toggle to the satellite ma view to observe if the satellite map
comes on.
SOFTWARE RECOVERY
Follow these troubleshooting steps if all other options have been tried or the
screen is not loading or booting up completely.
1. Format a 1 GB or larger USB drive to either FAT32® or exFAT®.
2. Download the latest software file from ridecommand.polaris.
com/en-us/app/display and transfer to the USB.
3. Plug the USB into the USB port on the vehicle.
4. Hold the left-most physical button on the display while turning the vehicle key
from off to accessory to turn the display on.
5. The display should turn on and begin to go into recovery mode. You may
stop pressing the button at this time.
6. Once the recovery process is over, the display will turn on and reboot as
normal.
