MAINTENANCE INTERVALS
NOTICE
Inspection may reveal the need for replacement parts. Always use genuine
Slingshot parts.
IMPORTANT
The AutoDrive hydraulic system contains lifetime fluid and is non-servicable.
Do not attempt to open the sealed system.
WARNING
Improperly performing the procedures marked for a to Dealer service could
result in component failure and lead to serious injury or death. Have an
authorized Slingshot dealer perform these services.
The maintenance interval charts outline required maintenance and inspection
based on vehicle miles. Each table states the number of miles that service is
required on the vehicle. Some items or components may need to be serviced
more often due to severe use. When the vehicle goes beyond 150,000 miles,
return to the 500 mile chart and start the interval process over.
NOTICE
SEVERE USE DEFINITION
• Idling for extended periods
• High speed operation for extended periods
• Low speed operation for extended periods
• Frequent operation in dusty or otherwise adverse conditions
• Frequent operation in extremely hot or cold climates
• Frequent short trip cold weather operation
XU — Perform these procedures more often for vehicles subjected to severe
use.
D — Have an authorized Slingshot dealer perform these services.
