MEDIA TRANSFER FROM PHONE

Follow these troubleshooting steps if:

• you are unable to get contacts to sync,

• calls are not showing up, or

• messages are not showing up.

1. On your phone, confirm Sync Contacts is enabled.

• On iPhone®: navigate to the Settings app, confirm Sync Contacts is

enabled and Show Notifications are synced.

• On Android®: navigate to Settings, confirm Sync Contacts and

Message Access are enabled.

2. After settings are changed, reboot the display by holding down the menu

button for 5–7 seconds.

NOTE

Only new text message are supported. Attachments and media are not

supported.

POINTS OF INTEREST (POI)

Follow these troubleshooting steps if search results show few options for POIs.

NOTICE

Vehicles without a cell modem or without an active RIDE COMMAND+

subscription will only be able to perform a search offline. This will limit the

search radius to about 25 miles.

NOTICE

If there is an active navigation session while trying to search for a POI, it will

restrict search results to about 1 mile from your route.

1. Ensure the problem isn’t related to the notices listed above.

2. Confirm the vehicle is running the latest software (see page 62).

3. Confirm the vehicle is running the latest map package.

4. Confirm the vehicle has a cell modem installed and the RIDE COMMAND+

subscription is active.

• See the Notices above for search area limitations on vehicles without cell

modems.

• RIDE COMMAND+ subscription status can be confirmed by the customer

in their RIDE COMMAND account.
