ADJUSTING THE THREAD TENSIONS

Normally, when upper thread regulating dial

is set to “ AUTO ”, thread tensions will

automatically adjust to correct tensions.

If it is difficult to obtain correct tensions

depending on the type of fabric and threads

being used, adjust the upper thread tension

dial to settings shown below.

A. Correct Thread Tensions

Upper and bobbin threads should lock

approximately in the middle of fabric.

B. When bobbin thread appears on top

side of fabric.

Turn the tension dial to the left (–).

COMO AJUSTAR LAS TENSIONES DEL HILO

Normalmente, cuando el dial de regulación

del hilo superior está colocado en “ AUTO ”,

las tensiones del hilo se ajustan

automáticamente a las tensiones correctas.

Si es dificil obtener las tensiones correctas

en función del tipo de tejido e hilos usados,

ajuste el dial de tensión del hilo superior

para las posiciones mostradas debajo.

A. Tensiones correctas del hilo

Los hilos superior y de la bobina deben

cerrarse aproximadamente en la mitad del

tejido.

B. Cuando el hilo de la bobina aparece en

el lado superior del tejido.

Gire el dial de la tensión a la izquierda

(–).

REGLAGE DES TENSIONS

Normalement, dès lorsque la molette de

réglage du fil supérieur est positionnée sur «

AUTO », les tensions de fil s’ajusteront

automatiquement sur des valeurs optimales.

Si vous rencontrez des difficultés pour

obtenir des tensions correctes, selon le type

de tissu et de fil que vous utilisez, vous

pouvez régler la molette de tension du fil

supérieur sur les valeurs indiquées ci-

dessous.

A. TENSION CORRECTE DU FIL

Le fil supérieur et le fil de canette doivent

se nouer au milieu du tissu.

B. Si le fil de canette apparait sur l’endroit du

tissu, tournez la molette de tension vers la

gauche (–).
