How to change the Needle

When your needle becomes blunt or bent,

change it right away. Use only a Catalog No.

2020 (15X1) needle, size 14.

1. Be sure the ON-OFF Power Switch is in

the OFF position.

2. Turn hand wheel until the take-up lever is

raised to its top position.

3. Lower the presser foot.

4. Loosen the screw and pull out the old nee-

dle.

5. Insert a new needle. Make sure the flat

side of needle is toward the back of

machine. Then push it up as far as it will

go and tighten the screw.
