Straight stitching
Straight stitching is ideal for locking fabrics, darning,
backstitching, basting stitch, inserting a zipper, among
others.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
Pattern: A
Stitch length: 2-3
Foot: General Purpose (B)
1. Sew about 1/2”(1cm) by pressing the foot control
pedal.
2. To reinforce, press the reverse button (illustration 1)
sewing more 1/2” (1cm) and releasing the reverse
button. Keep sewing until the end of fabric
(illustration 2).
3. To reinforce the end of a seam, push in the reverse
button and backstitch 3-4 stitches.
4. Lift the needle and presser foot and remove fabric.
5. Cut thread on thread cutter on face plate.
