NOTE: Using a fuel stabilizer (sold separately) when storing gasoline can help prevent
problems related to storing ethanol alcohol blended gasoline. Always follow the instructions
provided by the fuel stabilizer manufacturer to mix and use correctly.
Overlling the fuel tank can result in carbon canister damage (if equipped), poor engine
performance, and void the warranty. To avoid these hazards, do not ll the fuel tank
above the maximum level.
DO NOT OVERFILL FUEL TANK
1. Check fuel with the engine o and pressure washer on a level surface.
2. Remove fuel tank cap, check fuel level, then ll fuel tank if needed.
3. Do not use gasoline that is older than 30 days. Use only clean and fresh regular unleaded
gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Do not mix oil with gasoline. Do not use
gasoline that contains more than 10% ethyl alcohol. E15, E20, and E85 are not approved
fuels and should not be used.
4. Do not ll the fuel tank above the maximum fuel level to allow room for fuel expansion.
5. Replace fuel tank cap. Never run engine without fuel cap installed.
