Part Cleaning method
o Housing o Wipe down the housing
with a slightly damp
cloth.
o Do not let any water or
other liquids enter the
product interior.
o Crumb
tray [5]
o Pull out the crumb
tray [5].
o Remove the crumbs.
Wipe out the crumb
tray [5] with a damp
cloth.
o Reinsert the crumb
tray [5].
Storage
DANGER! Risk of burns! Do not store
the product right after operation. Let the
product cool first.
o Clean the product before storage.
o Run the mains cord [3] around the cord
rewind [4].
o Store the product in the original packaging
when it is not in use.
o Store the product at a dry location out of the
reach of children.
Troubleshooting

Bread too
strongly
browned.
Use the control dial [7] to set a
lower browning level.
Bread gets
stuck in the
product.
Disconnect the mains plug [3].
Let the product cool. Use a
wooden spatula to remove the
bread from the toasting slot [1].
Do not touch the heating
elements.
Heavy
smoke
The crumb tray [5] may be full.
Disconnect the mains plug [3].
Let the product cool. Clean the
crumb tray.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a)
and numbers (b) with following
meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper
and fibreboard/80–98: composite
materials.
