Troubleshooting
The remote release8 will not switch on.
► The battery is empty. Replace the battery (see section
Inserting/replacing the battery).
The Bluetooth
®
connection cannot be established.
► The Bluetooth
®
function on the smartphone is not activated.
Activate the Bluetooth
®
function on your smartphone.
Please refer to its operating instructions for more information.
► The distance between the remote release8 and the smart-
phone is too big. Make sure that the remote release8 is no
more than 10 meters away from the smartphone.
► Your smartphone may be using an unsupported operating
system. Check the version of the operating system on your
smartphone (for supported operating systems, see section
Technical data).
No image is captures when the
buttonq is pressed.
► Each manufacturer determines the key assignment of their
camera app themselves. Therefore, various malfunctions may
occur when the
buttonq is pressed, e.g. camera zooms
in instead of taking a picture. In this case, check the settings
of the operating system to see whether thesettings offer an
option for setting the volume control (+) as an additional
trigger button.
The operating LED0 flashes orange every second.
► The battery in the remote release8 is empty and must be
replaced (see section Inserting/replacing the battery).
