Disposal of the packaging
The packaging materials have been selected
for their environmental friendliness and ease of
disposal, and are therefore recyclable. Dispose of
packaging materials that are no longer needed in
accordance with applicable local regulations.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Note the labelling on the packaging and separate
the packaging material components for disposal if
necessary. The packaging material is labelled with
abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the
following meanings:
1–7: plastics, 20–22: paper and cardboard,
80–98: composites.
Inserting/replacing the battery
♦ Open the battery compartment on the rear of the remote
release8. To do this, turn the battery compartment cover w,
e.g. with a coin, in the direction of the arrow OPEN until the
arrow on the battery compartment coverw points to the
open lock symbol .
♦ Insert a CR 2032 battery into the battery compartment.
The positive terminal should face upwards.
♦ Replace the battery compartment coverw on the back of
the remote release8 and lock the battery compartment.
To do this, turn the battery compartment coverw in the
direction of the arrow CLOSE until the arrow on the battery
compartment coverw points to the closed lock symbol
.
NOTE
► If the operating LED 0 flashes orange every second, the
battery is depleted and must be replaced.
