Sound settings
The bass and treble functions in the system menu allow you to increase or
decrease the bass and treble reproduction in the range from +14 dB to -14 dB
in steps of 2 dB.
Bass
♦ Press the TUNE+8 or TUNE−7 button (several times if necessary) or
turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 until Bass appears
on the display
1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or the TUNE−7 button or turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 to increase or decrease the bass incrementally.
♦ Press the VOLUME |

Treble
♦ Briefly press the TUNE+8 or TUNE−7 button (several times if necessary)
or turn the VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 until Treble appears
on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or the TUNE−7 button or turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 to increase or decrease the treble incrementally.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
Backlight
Timeout
You can use the Timeout function to set the number of seconds after which the
display backlight is dimmed after the device is switched off or after a button was
pressed.
♦ While in the System menu, press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button (several
times if necessary) or turn the VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6
until Backlight appears on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 until Timeout appears on
the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 to select the time (On [no time-
out], 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180 seconds).
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
