DAB+ radio operation (DAB)
Automatic station scan with station storage (AMS)
The automatic station scan with station saving scans the entire frequency band
once and automatically saves the found DAB+ radio stations as a station list.
♦ This device must be switched on. If necessary, briefly press the
button2
to switch on the device.
♦ Briefly press the SOURCE/
button 3 (several times if necessary) until
DAB+ radio mode DAB is shown on the display1.
♦ Press the INFO / MENU button
4 for approx. 2 seconds. The display
shows the message Full scan.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to start the auto matic
station scan with station saving. The display 1 shows the message
Scanning... and the number of stations found. The search progress is dis-
played as a progress bar. The DAB+ radio stations found are automatically
stored in alphabetical order in the station list. When the scan is finished, the
first station in the station list is automatically played.
NOTE
► An automatic station scan with station saving may overwrite an existing
station list.
Selecting stations
♦ In DAB+ radio mode, press the TUNE+button 8 or the TUNE–button 7
to select a DAB+ radio station from the station list.
Alternatively, after pressing the TUNE+button 8 or the TUNE–button 7,
you can use the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial 6 to select a
station from the station list.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial 6 to play back the
selected station.
Manual station selection
The Manual tune function allows you to adjust the signal strength and thus the
reception quality of a DAB+ radio station.
♦ In DAB+ radio mode, press the INFO/MENU button
4 for about
2 seconds to call up the DAB settings menu.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 until Manual tune appears
on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
The display
1 shows the receivable DAB+ radio stations with the respective
multiplex numbers and frequencies.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE− 7 button to select a station.
