3. Check whether the product and all parts are
in good condition, if any damage or defect
is detected, do not use the product, but
follow the procedure described in chapter
“Warranty”.
4. Before first use, clean all parts of the product
as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
Setting up the product
INFO:
o Do not place the product directly next to a
wall or a cupboard. Each person should have
unimpaired access to the pans[].
o The griddle[2] can be used on both sides. If
you use the grooved side of the griddle, your
food will have the typical grill pattern.
1. Place the product on a clean and level heat-
resistant surface.
2. Place the stone griddle[1] on one side of
the product between the guide rails[9]. The
grease drainage[] must face upwards.
3. Place the griddle[2] on the other side.
4. Position the pans[] inside the product.
Before first use
CAUTION! Hot surface!
The surfaces of the product are liable to get
hot during use. Touch only the temperature
control [4] and the handles [3] at the sides.
The pans [] become very hot during use.
Hold the pans only by the handle.
INFO: The first time the product heats up, a
small amount of smoke and odour may be
generated due to production-related residue.
This is normal and is completely harmless.
Ensure sufficient ventilation; for example, by
opening a window.
1. Insert the mains plug[8] into a mains socket.
The power indicator lamp[6] lights up red.
2. Turn the temperature control[4] to the
MAXposition. The heat-up indicator
lamp[5] lights up green. The product is
heating up.
3. Switching off: Turn the temperature control[4]
after 20minutes to the 0position.
4. Disconnect the mains plug[8] from the mains
socket. The power indicator lamp[6] goes off.
5. Allow the product to cool down completely.
6. Clean the product (see “Cleaning”).
Operation
Heating up the product
INFO:
o The heat-up indicator lamp[5] lights up and
goes off several times during the heating
process. This is not a product malfunction!
It merely indicates that the product is
maintaining the set temperature.
o Depending on the room temperature,
heating up starts at different positions on the
temperature control[4].
o Do not insert the pans[] into the product
while the product is heating up.
1. Select the side of the griddle[2] that you
want to use.
2. Lightly oil the upper surfaces of the stone
griddle[1], the griddle[2] as well as the
inside of the pans[].
3. Insert the mains plug[8] into a mains socket.
The power indicator lamp[6] lights up red.
4. Turn the temperature control[4] to the
MAXposition. The heat-up indicator
lamp[5] lights up green. The product is
heating up.
The following table shows the required
heating times depending on the function:

Using the raclette
INFO:
o Do not overfill the pans[]. Otherwise the
food could get too close to the heating
elements.
