NOTES:
• The turbo function will only work,
- if the blade assembly19 is not turning.
- if the food temperature in the blender jug5 is less
than 60 °C.
• The speed is promptly increased to setting 10 (maxi-
mum).
11.10 Scale
The integrated kitchen scales weighs in increments of
5 grams up to 5 kg.
The scales is easy to operate and ready for use unless an-
other cycle is in operation.
Easy weighing
1. The device is switched on but no other cycle is in op-
eration.
2. Press the button 34. The touchscreen8 shows the
scales’ function and 0 g .
3. Place the item to be weighed into the blender jug5.
On the touchscreen8, the weight will be shown in
grams up to 5 kilograms.
4. If you add another ingredient to the blender jug, the
weight will be added to the display.
5. Press the button in order to stop the weighing
function. The start menu appears again.
Weighing with the Tara function
With the Tara function you can reset the display of the
scale to 0 grams and then add new items to be weighed.
1. The device is switched on but no other cycle is in op-
eration.
2. Press the button 34. The touchscreen8 shows 0 g.
3. Place the item to be weighed into the blender jug5.
On the touchscreen8, the weight will be shown in
grams up to 5 kilograms.
4. Press the display dial to set the weight indicator to 0 g.
5. Add the new object to be weighed to the existing ob-
ject to be weighed.
The touchscreen8 will now show only the weight of
the new object in grams.
6. If necessary, repeat the process with new items to be
weighed.
7. Press the button in order to stop the weighing
function. The start menu appears again.
11.11 Overflow hole
In the holder of the blender jug11 there is an overflow
hole13.
Should liquid escape from the blender jug5, this will not
collect in the base unit14, but can escape via the over-
flow hole13 onto the work surface.
