9. Maintenance/cleaning
9.1 Maintenance
DANGER! Maintenance is required if the hand-held hoover
has been damaged in any way, for example, if liquid has
entered the product, if the hand-held hoover has been
exposed to rain or moisture, if the hand-held hoover is not
working properly or if it has been dropped. If you notice
smoke development, unusual noises or smells, switch off the
hand-held hoover immediately and disconnect it from the
mains. If this occurs, the hand-held hoover should not be used
before it has been inspected by authorised service personnel.
All servicing work must be carried out by qualified specialist
personnel. Never open the housing of the hand-held hoover.
9.2 Cleaning
DANGER! Disconnect the hand-held hoover from the mains
before cleaning, there is a risk of electric shock otherwise!
DANGER! Never immerse the hand-held hoover in water,
there is a risk of electric shock!
Empty the dust container (14) and clean the dust filter (12) and dust filter holder (13) after each use
to maintain good suction performance.
Press the release button (11) to remove the dust container (14) from the motor block (8).
Remove the dust filter (12) including the dust filter holder (13) by reaching into the opening of
the dust filter (12) and pulling it out.
Empty the dust container (14).
Pull the dust filter (12) out of the dust filter holder (13).
