Before first use
Remove the packaging. Check if all parts are
complete.
NOTE: The product may give off some odour
during first use. These are production or
transport residue that will quickly subside.
Operation
Fold out the stand [7] (Fig. B). When you
switch on the product, make sure that the
stand [7] does not touch the curling iron [8].
Place the product on a heat-resistant, flat
surface and away from other objects.
Connect the mains plug [5] to a suitable
mains outlet.
Switch on the product by moving the on/
off switch I/0 [2] to I position. The indicator
light [6] flashes red to indicate that the
product is heating up.
As soon as the set temperature is reached, the
indicator light [6] lights up red continuously.
Open the clamp [1] (Fig. C).
Clamp the tip of a strand of hair on the
curling iron [8].
Release the clamp [1].
Wind the strand of hair up to approx. 5 cm
above the scalp on the curling iron [8]. Do
not touch your scalp while doing this. (Fig. D)
Hold the strand of hair in place around
the curling iron for approx. 5‒8 seconds
(depending on the hair type).
Open the clamp [1] and carefully pull the
curling iron [8] from the curled strand of hair.
Wait until your hair has cooled down before
brushing or combing it. Otherwise the result
might not be satisfactory.
If necessary, repeat the above steps until the
result is satisfactory.
After you are finished with styling or when the
product is no longer used, move the on/off
switch I/0 [2] to 0 position immediately. The
indicator light [6] goes out.
Remove the mains plug [5] from the mains
outlet. Allow the product to cool down
completely in a well-ventilated location.
NOTES:
The curling iron [8] becomes very hot. Do not
touch the curling iron [8] when the product is
switched on. Always hold the product by its
handle[3].
Make sure the product is out of reach of pets
or young children during or after use.
Hair must be clean, dry and free from styling
products. This excludes special products that
support curling.
Comb the hair thoroughly before curling.
Use the product in a well-ventilated room.
Automatic switch-off function
The product is fitted with an automatic switch-
off function. After approx. 30 minutes the
product will switch off automatically.
To keep using the product, switch it off and
then wait for 1 second before switching it
back on.
The automatic switch-off function is not
intended as a replacement for switching the
product off properly.
Troubleshooting
