6. Operation

~ Do not reach into the device or touch hot or sharp parts.
6.1 Closing the foil packaging
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
~ The device is designed for a maximum operating time of
1minute without interruption. After this, the device must re-
main switched off until it has cooled down to room tempera-
ture.
NOTE: please open the packaging such that straight opening
edges form. Otherwise straighten them with scissors before clos-
ing.
The device is suitable for re-closing an existing foil packaging,
such as crisps and wine gum bags.
1. Tilt the safety bracket3 downwards.
2. Insert the upper end of a foil packaging into the end of the
device marked with the symbol 2.
3. Carefully press the end marked with the symbol 2 to-
gether and keep it pressed together until the welding areas
heat up after several seconds.
4. Figure B: hold the packaging in one hand. Pull the device
evenly from one edge of the packaging to the other and
weld them together.
