Warning about property damage
The fan is partially temperature-controlled, i.e. as long as the glass surface exceeds a certain
temperature, the fan continues to run, even if the heating zone (1, 3) has been switched off.
The fan can also switch back on again if the defined temperature is exceeded again, e.g. if a
hot pan is placed back on the heating zone (1, 3). Therefore, do not unplug the plug from the
mains socket until there are no more hot pans on the heating zone (1, 3).
If you switch the induction hotplate off and the surface temperature of the heating zones
(1, 3) is higher than 60 °C, "– H –" is shown on the display (7). If the temperature drops
below 60 °C, the display (7) shows "– L –".
If you remove the pan from the induction hotplate when in use, the display (7) shows
"E0" and a beeper sounds every 2 seconds. The beeper stops sounding after approx. 60
seconds. The display (7) of the corresponding heating zone (1, 3) continues to show "–
H –" as long as the surface temperature of the heating zone (1, 3) is greater than
60 °C. If the temperature drops below 60 °C, the display (7) of the heating zone (1, 3)
shows "– L –". The fan may continue to run for up to a minute.
The only way to hide the “– H –” and “– L –” symbols from the display (7) is by
disconnecting the product from the mains or by switching the induction hotplate on
again.
After approx. 2 hours of continuous operation the appliance switches off automatically
(even if you change any settings/display icons) and a beep can be heard. If you have
programmed the timer, the timer countdown will have priority and the appliance switches
off automatically after the set time.
7.2.1 Temperature and power settings
The induction hotplate has a temperature mode and a power mode. The mode selected depends on the
application. For example, if you want to bring something to the boil as quickly as possible, select power
mode “L10”. This heats the cookware at maximum power. Or if you wish, for example, to fry something
quickly, select the temperature mode. This heats the cookware to the target temperature selected and
holds it there. The difference from power mode is that the power set is around 1000 W. This prevents the
cookware getting hotter than the temperature selected. In order to reach the selected temperature quickly,
you can use the boost function after selecting the temperature.
