• Use stainless dishes for steam cooking.
• Do not use any liquids other than water.
• Do not use hot water.
• At the end of each steam cooking, if there is some
water left in the reservoir, it should be cleaned and
this remaining water should not be used in the next
cooking.
• Cavity which is located in the base of the oven
must be cleaned after each steam cooking. If
water remains on the oven bottom after each
steam-assisted cooking, wipe the remaining water
with a dry cloth after the oven has cooled down.
Otherwise, water remaining on the oven floor may
cause limescale.
Limescale is the insoluble calcium and magnesium
deposits that are left behind when hard water
evaporates. Slightly off-white in colour, it forms when
water is heated or left standing. Therefore, in hard
water areas, limescale is inevitable and normal. It is
recommended to use soft water to avoid excess
amount of limescale residue on the cavity which is
located in the base of the oven.
