Disposal of your old machine
Information for users pursuant to Art. 26 of
Legislative Decree no. 49 of 14 March 2014,
"Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on
waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE)
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the equipment
indicates that, at the end of its useful life, the product
must be collected separately from other waste,
to allow appropriate treatment and recycling. The
final user must take the end-of-life equipment to
appropriate separate collection facilities for electrical
and electronic waste, or return it to the retailer, using
the following methods:
• For very small equipment, meaning with at least on
external side not exceeding 25 cm, delivery free of
charge, with no purchase obligation at shops with an
electrical and electronic equipment sales area over
400 m2. For smaller shops, this method is optional;
• For equipment with dimensions over 25 cm,
deliver to all shops with the “1 for 1” method,
meaning the equipment may only be delivered to
the retailer with the purchase of a new equivalent
product. Appropriate separate collection for
subsequent sending of the discarded equipment
to recycling, treatment or environmentally friendly
disposal contributes to avoiding possible effects
on the environment and health and encourages
recyclingreuse of the materials of which the
equipment is made.
