[Text to speech] – Settings for the TalkBack screen reader.
[Text Scaling] – Adjusts the size of text in the TV menus.
[Bold Text] – Makes menu text bold for easier readability.
[Colour Correction] – An accessibility option for colour-blind users. This
setting allows you to adjust how colours are displayed. Available modes
include:
[Deuteranomaly] (green-red)
[Protanomaly] (red-green)
[Tritanomaly] (blue -yellow)
[Greyscale] (Achromatopsia)
[Accessibility Shortcut] – A quick way to enable an accessibility feature.
When the shortcut is active, press both the
(back) and Down buttons
for 3 seconds to start the selected accessibility feature. You can choose the
shortcut function under [Shortcut service]. The default option is TalkBack.
[Keyboard Accessibility] – Accessibility options for external keyboards:
[Time to take action (accessibility timeout)] – You can choose how
long to show messages that ask you to take action, but are visible only
temporarily.
[Key repeat delay] – Adjusts the delay before a held key starts repeating.
[Switch Access] – Allows control of the TV using one or more external
switches instead of the remote. Items on the screen are scanned and
highlighted sequentially until a selection is made.
[Audio Description] – Adds a narration track that describes visual elements
of the program, aiding visually impaired users. Available only with
supported digital TV content.
[Captions] – Displays text on the screen that represents spoken dialogue
and sound eff ects. Useful for users who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Options include:
[Display] – Turn captions on or off .
[Language] – Select the preferred caption language.
[Text size] – Adjust size of displayed text.
[White on black] / [Black on white] – Choose the caption text and
background color combination.
[High-contrast text] – Enhances text contrast on screen for improved
readability.
