∙ Always ensure the appliance is switched off and removed from the charging station
before cleaning, servicing or changing accessories.
Safety when handling rechargeable batteries
∙ If rechargeable batteries are handled improperly, there is a risk of injury and
explosion.
∙ WARNING! Only use the included power supply unit to charge the battery (see
Technical Data). Never use another power supply unit to charge the batteries. The
power supply unit provided must, in turn, only be used to charge the appliance
batteries provided.
∙ Take the appliance and the battery to an appropriate collection point near you for
safe and environmentally friendly disposal. Never dispose of the appliance with the
rechargeable battery in household waste.
∙ Never take the appliance with the rechargeable battery apart, expose it to high
temperatures or throw it into the re.
∙ Liquid may leak from the battery if the appliance is handled improperly. Discontinue
using the appliance if it is damaged or if liquid is leaking from the battery.
∙ If liquid has escaped, avoid contact with the liquid.
∙ In case of contact with the liquid, rinse it off immediately with copious amounts of
water. In case of after effects (irrespective of type), consult a doctor.
Safety of particular groups of people
∙ This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if
they understand the hazards involved.
∙ Children shall not play with the appliance.
∙ Children may not play with the appliance or stand or sit on the appliance.
∙ Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children without
supervision.
∙ Keep the appliance and power supply unit inaccessible to children when switched
on or charging.
∙ Keep packaging material out of the reach of children and dispose of it properly.
Otherwise, there is a risk of suffocation.
