20.1.2 Exceedance SLM mode (Exc_slm_mode)
Through the MODE parameter, it is possible to trigger on SLM acoustic parameters exceedances ac-
cording to 4 different modes described below. Four values are available: POS, NEG, IN, OUT
❖ POS
The exceedance occurs (trigger ON) when the sound level goes from a lower to a higher value than
the Max value (threshold Max) set as the trigger activation threshold and is deactivated (trigger OFF)
when the sound level goes from a higher to a lower value than the Min value (threshold Min) set as
the trigger deactivation threshold.

❖ NEG
The exceedance occurs (trigger ON) when the sound level goes from a higher to a lower value than
the Min (threshold Min) value set as the trigger activation threshold and is deactivated (trigger OFF)
when the sound level goes from a lower to a higher value than the Max value (threshold Max) set as
the trigger deactivation threshold.
