2.4 Intended use
The device is a water-protected thermometer. It is designed for precise and instantaneous
temperature measurements in the following media / applications:
• Food
• Drinking/hot water control
• Liquids
• Gases
• Soft plastic materials
• Bulk material
The design enables easy cleaning and good visibility of soiling for hygiene-critical applications
(HACCP) and the autohold / timer functions support the monitoring of drinking water
temperatures for legionella prevention.
2.5 Qualified personnel
For commissioning, operation and maintenance, the relevant personnel must have adequate
knowledge of the measuring process and the significance of the measurements. The instruc-
tions in this document must be understood, observed and followed.
In order to avoid any risks arising from interpretation of the measurements in the concrete
application, the user must have additional expertise. The user is solely liable for dam-
ages/danger resulting from misinterpretation due to inadequate expertise.
