The measured value (F-stop) will be displayed. Press the Measuring Button

again to re all ashes in the same Studio Address and measure until the desired

F-stop is displayed.

The accumulated measured value (F-stop) and the cumulative count will be

displayed.

If you want to adjust the output power of each ash separately, go to Flash Power

Control Screen to make a measurement and adjustment.

In the Flash Power

Control Screen, the Multi (cumulative) ash measurement is not

available. (



NOTICE

● In case of the following, please follow “Cord Multi (Cumu.) Flash Mode” ( ).

• When ring the ash, if the ash brightness is lower than the ambient light, the meter

may fail to detect the light.

• Rapid start uorescent lamps and special lighting are sometimes mistaken for ash

and accidentally measured.

• Even if the ash does not re, when a sudden light change occurs in the light receptor,

measurement may be made.

• The waveform of a ash bulb has a slight slope and there is a possibility that the light

meter cannot recognize the ash bulb.

● The EV scale cannot be displayed in the Radio Triggering Multi (Cumu.) Flash mode.

NOTE

● With broncolor radio system, individual ash triggering is not available for each Lamp

Address. All ashes in the same Studio Address will re even if a particular Lamp

Address is selected. For measuring the ash individually, turn off the power of ash units

not in use. Or use the retracted lumisphere of L-858D to measure the light in front while

all ashes re.

● For red-eye prevention and auto-ash light adjustment, some devices can pre-ash

before main ash burst. With the normal setting, the light meter will measure the pre-

ash bursts and not the main ash burst. To take a successful reading, activate the pre-

ash feature in the Tool Box. Please refer to the L-858D Operating Manual.
