17. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your product failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.
Fault Possible cause Remedy
Engine does not run
Motor is overloaded Switch the product on again
No mains voltage
Have the socket, cable, lead and plug
checked by a qualied electrician (see
Electrical connection)
Motor running but screen drum
does not turn
Motor belt defective or tension too
low
Check motor belt, tension or replace
Screen drum belt defective or
tension too low
Check, tension or replace screen drum
belt
Screening material is not fully
screened
Screening material clumping and/or
too moist
Crush the screening material rst and/or
wait until the screening material is drier
Screen drum angle too steep Reduce the angle of the screen drum
