Explanation of the symbols on the device
Symbols are used in this manual to draw your attention to potential hazards. The safety symbols and the accompa-
nying explanations must be fully understood. The warnings themselves will not rectify a hazard and cannot replace
proper accident prevention measures.
Read the operating and safety instructions before start-up and follow them!
Wear hearing protection.
Wear a dust protection mask. When machining wood and other materials, harmful dust may
be generated. Do not machine material containing asbestos!
Wear eye protection. Sparks created during work or fragments, chippings and dust ejected
by the device can case sight loss.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Do not reach into the planing blade while it is running.
