• Release the clutch lever before starting the engine.
• Start the engine carefully according to the instruc-
tions and keep your feet far away from the moving
parts.
• Never leave the operating position while the en-
gine is running.
• Always hold the device with both hands during oper-
ation. Always hold the handlebar securely. Remem-
ber that the machine can unexpectedly jump up or
forward if it encounters hidden obstacles, such as
large stones.
• The machine must always be guided at walking
speed.
• Do not overload the machine. Drive at a safe speed,
adjust the speed to the slope of the terrain, the sur-
face condition of the road, and the weight of the
load.
• Take particular care when using reverse gear or
pulling the machine towards you.
• Be especially careful when working on or crossing
gravel paths, pavements or roads. Always watch out
for hidden dangers and trac.
• Drive on soft ground in rst forward/reverse gear.
Do not accelerate hard, steer or brake sharply.
Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the state-of-
the-art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the “Safety In-
structions” and the “Intended Use” together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.
• Use the tool that is recommended in this operating
manual. This is how to ensure that your machine
provides optimum performance.
• Keep your hands away from the working area when
the machine is in operation.
