10 Accessories set (Fig. 1)
10.1 Cutter knife (20)
1. Press the unlocking on the cutter knife (20) to pull out
the insert with the spare blades.
10.2 Tape measure (24)
1. Push the locking slider forward to fix the pulled out
tape measure (24).
2. Release the fixation by pulling back the locking slider.
3. Press and hold one of the locking buttons to temporar-
ily fix the pulled-out tape measure (24).
4. With the clip, on the back, you can attach the tape
measure (24) to the belt.
10.3 Center punch (25)
1. With the centre punch (25) you can give a drill an ini-
tial guide at a fixed position to prevent the drill from
running when starting to drill.
2. You can also use the centre punch (25) to mark work-
pieces.
3. Place the centre punch (25) with the tip at the desired
position and hit the back of the centre punch (25) with
a hammer (not included in scope of delivery).

Torque
• Smaller screws*/bits may be damaged if you set too
high a torque or speed.
Hard screwing case (into metal)
• Particularly high torques occur, for example, with met-
al screw connections using sockets. Select a low
speed.
Soft screwing case (e.g. into wood)
• Also screw here with a low speed to ensure the wood
surface is not damaged by contact with the screw
head. Use a countersink.
When drilling into wood, metal and other materials
• Use a high speed for small drill diameters and a low
speed for large drill diameters.
• Select a low speed for hard materials and a high
speed for soft materials.
• Secure or fasten (if possible) the workpiece is a
clamping device*.
• Mark the place where you want to drill with a centre
punch or a nail*. Select a low speed to drill.
• Pull the rotating drill out of the drillhole several times
to remove chips and drilling dust.
Drilling into metal
• Use metal drill bits (HSS). For best results, cool the
drill with cooling lubricant* (cutting oil). Metal drills can
also be used for drilling into plastic. First pre-drill with
a Ø 3mm drill bit and approach the desired drill diame-
ter.
Drilling into wood
• Use a wood drill with a centre point.
Depth holes: Use an “auger”*.
Large drill diameter: Use a Forstner drill*.
Small screws* in soft wood can also be screwed in di-
rectly without predrilling.
Drilling into bricks
• Used a carbide-tipped masonry drill* (max. Recom-
mended drilling diameter Ø 10 mm).
12 Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are
not described in this operating manual, car-
ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
WARNING
Improper maintenance or cleaning work can
cause injuries!
WARNING
The product may start unexpectedly and cause inju-
ries and burns during cleaning, repair and mainte-
nance work.
– Switch the product off.
– Remove the battery.
– Allow the product to cool down.
– Remove the tool attachment.
12.1 Cleaning
1. Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
product clean with a clean cloth* or blow it off with
compressed air* at low pressure. We recommend that
you clean the product directly after every use.
2. Ventilation openings must always be free.
3. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they
could attack the plastic parts of the product. Make
sure that no water can penetrate the product interior.
4. Wipe any dirt off the lens with a dry cloth. Be careful
to avoid scratching the LED lamp as this can severely
reduce the light intensity.
12.2 Maintenance
The product is maintenance-free.
13 Storage
Preparation for storage
1. Remove the battery from the product before pro-
longed storage (e.g. winter storage).
2. Clean and check the product for damage.
3. Store the battery in a partially charged state.
4. When stored, check the battery charge level every
three months.
