11. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your product failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The lter does not
darken or icker as
intended.
Welding helmet is dirty or damaged. Welding helmet must be cleaned or replaced.
Arc sensor is covered. Clean the surface of the arc sensor.
Welding current is too low. The sensitivity must be set to the maximum.
Battery is weak.
Replace the battery with a new CR2032 lithium
battery.
Slow reaction.
The ambient temperature is too low. The welding helmet must not be used below -5 °C.
Sensitivity is too low. The sensitivity must be increased.
Poor visibility.
Viewing window is dirty. Viewing window must be cleaned.
Protective lm on the viewing window
has not been removed.
Backing lm must be removed.
The ambient light is too weak. Lighting conditions must be adjusted.
The wrong protection level was
selected.
Check the protection level.
Welding helmet
slips o.
Headband is not adjusted correctly. Headband must be adjusted more rmly.

- Sales points for batteries and rechargeable bat-
teries
- Take-back points of the common take-back sys-
tem for old device batteries
- Take-back point of the manufacturer (if not a
member of the common take-back system)

the disposal of rechargeable batteries and batteries
in countries outside the European Union.
