IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Read this manual carefully before using the appliance to avoid damage during use.
• Before initial use, check that the technical specications indicated on the product correspond
to the electrical network parameters.
• Incorrect handling may cause damage to the product, property damage and harm to the user.
• The appliance is intended for domestic use only, as described in this Operating Manual. The
appliance is not intended for industrial or commercial use, nor for use:
– in sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other industrial premises;
– in farmhouses;
– by customers in hotels, motels, boarding houses and similar residential settings.
• Do not use outdoors or in high humidity conditions.
• Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before assembling, disassembling and
cleaning, or when not in use.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock and re, do not immerse the motor part in water or other
liquids or expose it to running water. If this happens, unplug the appliance immediately and
have qualied personnel check the functionality and safety of the appliance before using it
any further.
• The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• This appliance is not for use by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of
children.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance switched on unattended.
• Do not use accessories other than those supplied.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
• When disconnecting the appliance from the power supply, do not pull on the power cord,
grasp the plug. Do not twist it or wrap it around anything.
• When you have nished using the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply and wait
until the motor has stopped completely before removing food and attachments.
WARNING: The cutting blades are very sharp and dangerous. Handle them with extreme care!
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance or replace any parts yourself. If you notice any faults,
contact your nearest Service Centre.
• If the appliance has been exposed to temperatures below 00C for some time, keep it at room
temperature for at least 2 hours before switching it on.
• The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to the product design without
additional notice that do not fundamentally aect its safety, performance and functionality.
• The production date is indicated on the product and/or on the packaging, as well as in the
accompanying documentation, in the format XX.XXXX, where the rst two digits “XX” are the
220-240 V ~ 50 Hz
