10. Security and connectivity
This part allows to manage the wireless communication, to dene the security code and the touch lock functionality.
To access this menu:
• Tap
on the measurement screen.
• Tap the security code.
Default security code is 0101. This code can be modied in "Security/Connectivity" menu. See chapter 9.2
on page 24.
10.1 Wireless communication
It's possible to activate and deactivate the wireless communication. The wireless communication must be activated
to use the Sauermann Control app.
"Security/Connectivity" menu is displayed.
• Tap
to activate the wireless communication.
or
• Tap
to deactivate the wireless communication.
10.2 Dene the security code
To congure the transmitter, and for security purposes, a security code must be entered. The default code is 0101.
This code can be modied:
"Security/Connectivity" menu is displayed.
• Tap "Security code".
• Tap "New code".
• Enter a new code of 4 digits then tap OK.
• Tap "Conrmation".
• Conrm the new code then tap OK.
• Tap "Save code" button.
10.3 Dene the Touch Lock functionality
It's possible to lock the screen of the transmitter after a certain time of non-use. To unlock it, tap the lock icon for 3
seconds.
"Security/Connectivity" menu is displayed.
• Tap "Touch lock".
• Tap "Lock delay".
• Enter the lock delay then tap OK.
• Tap
to activate the touch lock.
10.4 Reset instrument from factory
It's possible to reset the transmitter to factory parameters.
"Security/Connectivity" menu is displayed.
• Tap "Reset Instrument From Factory".
The transmitter displays a message asking if you are sure to back to factory settings.
• Tap Yes to conrm the reset.
or
• Tap the back arrow on the top left of the screen to cancel.
The transmitter will be reset to original delivery settings. All your congurations will be deleted.
