4 Test 1 : Visual Inspection

Reading should not exceed 0.3Ω (ohm).
4 Test 4: Insulation Resistance
This test must be carried out using a suitable test meter with a 500v MΩ setting.
The resistance reading should not be less than 10MΩ
4 Test 5: Earth Leakage test (Measurement of protective conductor current)
The leakage current reading should be less than 3.5mA
4 Test 6 : Touch Current test
The touch current reading should be less than 0.5 mA
4 Test 7: Function Test
Test meter required specications
Socket tester,
polarity and earth
The test current within the measuring range between
0.2 Ω and 1.99 Ω shall not be below 200 mA.

Measuring of
protective bonding
(Earth continuity)
Measuring range between 0.2 Ω and 1.99 Ω test current
shall not be below 200 mA.
Using test equipment according to EN 61557-4 or EN
61557-16 will full this requirement.
Insulation
resistance
The value of the test voltage of the test equipment shall
not be below 500 V DC for a test current of 1 mA.
Using test equipment according to EN 61557-2 or EN
61557-16 will full this requirement.
Earth leakage
resistance
For measuring protective earth leakage current the
measurement range shall include the values 0.25 mA
up to 19 mA.
Measuring device shall be in accordance with 670
EN 61010-1:2010, Annex A or or EN 62353:2014, C.4.
• Check whether the washing machine is level in relationship with the oor. Check whether it is
installed rmly on the oor.
