CAUTION
• Do not operate the Washing machine without the dispensers in the detergent drawer.
- A water leak may cause electric shock or injury.
• Do not use the following types of detergent in the drawer.
- Tablet, capsule, ball, or net types.
• Do not use gel-type or viscous detergent/softener in the detergent drawer as they may not flow well.
- Read the detergent/softener manufacturer’s instructions before using them in the washing
machine.
• Do not carry any removed compartment. Put the compartment back in place.
- Otherwise, the compartment may shake and cause the content to spill out.
• Empty the compartments in the detergent drawer before moving the washing machine to prevent any
content from spilling out on the floor.
• Do not use liquid or powdered chlorine bleach.
• Do not put or store cleaning agents such as detergent, bleach, or fabric softener on your Washing
machine. Wipe up any spills immediately to prevent damage to the Washing machine, especially the
finish and the LCD panel.
NOTE
• The “Close dispenser” message appears if the detergent drawer is not completely closed.Close the
detergent drawer before you start the washing machine.
• If message “Needs refill” appears on the display, refill the corresponding compartment.
• When using the Wool, Delicates, Activewear, Outdoor cycles, detergent or softener is not dispensed
automatically. If detergent/softener is required, it must be dispensed manually.
• For special detergents or softeners (wools, baby clothes, etc.), please purchase an additional
compartment and use the new compartment exclusively for the special detergent or softener.
• Push the compartment to the bottom to close it.
• If you feel the softener smell is weak, set the softener addition level to high.
• Do not exceed the Max Line when adding detergent and softener.
• Do not mix detergent and softener.
• Always keep the lid of the detergent/softener compartment tightly closed.
• Once you refill the detergent/softener compartment and the message does not disappear, turn the
washing machine off and then on again, or open the detergent compartment for more than 3 seconds
and then turn it off.
• The washing machine will start to detect the added detergent or softener.
• The detection time may vary depending on the type of detergent or softener.
• Moisture on the powder detergent drawer can cause the detergent to stick. Therefore, wipe off the
moisture with a dry cloth before adding detergent.
