Child Lock
The Child Lock function alerts the user when the lid opens while the function is on, to ensure safety during
operation and to prevent accidents.
Enabling and disabling the Child Lock function
Press and hold Water Level and Wash simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds to enable or disable the
Child Lock function.
• The Child Lock indicator blinks when the function is enabled, and it turns off when the function is
disabled.
• The Child Lock function remains enabled even when the washing machine is turned off.
WARNING
Disabling the Child Lock function disables safety alerts. Always supervise children around the washing
machine to prevent accidents.
NOTE
• When the Child Lock is enabled and the washing machine is on:
- If the lid is opened, the “ dC” code blinks and an alarm sounds. If the lid is closed within 30 seconds
after the alarm starts, the “CL” code blinks on the control panel, the operation pauses, and the alarm
turns off. However, if the lid remains open for more than 30 seconds after the alarm, the “CL” code
blinks, and safety draining starts. Once safety draining begins, closing the lid only stops the alarm;
safety draining continues.
• When the Child Lock is enabled and the washing machine is off:
- If the lid remains open for more than 30 seconds and the water level is above the safety limit, the
“CL” code blinks, and safety draining starts. The alarm does not sound, and the control panel turns
off after draining is complete.
