Preparing the installation
MCU indoor/outdoor unit compatible table
Before installing MCU, refer to the compatible table below and nd the model before installation.
MCU4EAEV✴ and MCU4BAV✴ models have internal EEV and they are connected to the indoor units without EEV.
MCU4EAEV✴ and MCU4BAV✴ have EEV bypass valve. Therefore, if you use indoor units with internal EEV, you must open
the bypass valve when using the MCU. (Refer to the below gure)
EEV bypass valve
Gas pipe connected to indoor unit
Liquid pipe connected to indoor unit
Use L wrench (4mm) to open this part when
connecting indoor unit with internal EEV.
