Setting up a password

The PIN input window appears. Enter a PIN. Enter it again to conrm it.
This function may not be supported depending on the model or geographical area.
If you forget your PIN, you can reset it with your remote control. With the TV turned on, press the following buttons on the
remote control in the order shown to reset the PIN to "0000" (for France and Italy: "1111").
On the Samsung Smart Remote or Remote Control: Press (Volume) button. Volume Up Volume Down
Volume Up .
On the Standard Remote Control: Press button. ( ) (Volume Up) Press RETURN button. ( ) (Volume Down)
Press RETURN button. ( ) (Volume Up) Press RETURN button.
Restoring the TV to the factory settings

You can restore all TV settings to the factory defaults.
1.
Select Factory data reset. The security PIN entry window appears.
2.
Enter the security PIN, and then select Reset. All settings are then reset. The TV turns off and on again
automatically and displays the Initial Setup screen.
For more information on Factory data reset, refer to the Simple User Guide that came with the TV.
If you skipped some steps in the initial setup, run Set Up TV ( left directional button Connected Devices TV
Press and hold the Select button Set Up TV), and then congure the settings in the steps you skipped. This function may
not be supported depending on the model or geographical area.

You can set the TV Controller button lock. If this function is On, you cannot use TV Controller button.
