Cycle overview
Cycle descriptions
You can add or delete cycles to personalize the cycle list by swiping down from the top of the screen to
access the Quick Panel , then tapping > Dryer > My cycles. See page 52 for more information.
NOTE
• Energy savings will vary depending on loads and cycles. Energy consumption could increase if the LCD
screen is set to stay on all year long.
• To ensure even drying results, you may need to reposition the items in the drum.
• Use the Towels cycle if you need to dry only the towels.
Sensor dry cycles
Cycle Description
Normal
• For cottons, bed linens, table linens, underwear, towels, or shirts.
• Default energy cycle for drying: Normal
- To access the Normal cycle on the LCD models, turn on the power,
and select Cycle > Normal.
AI OptiDry+
• AI OptiDry+ uses an enhanced sensor to detect the condition of a
load and intelligently optimizes the drying performance.
• Must check the clothing care label before using the AI OptiDry+
cycle.
Super Speed
• For drying synthetic fabrics fast and effectively.
• The shortened time may differ depending on the load/options.
• For best performance, the recommended load is 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) or
lower.
Heavy Duty
• For drying items made out of heavy fabrics, such as jeans, corduroys,
or work clothes, with high-temperature heat.
Delicates • For drying heat-sensitive items at a low temperature.
Towels • For bath towels, washcloths, and mats.
Bedding
• For bulky items such as blankets, sheets, comforters, and light
duvets.
Activewear
• For exercise wear and outdoor wear such as sports jerseys, training
pants, water-repellent jackets, and other performance clothing.
Thick fabrics like a zipper or Velcro closure of a jacket, or training
socks may not be completely dried.
Denim
• Use a stepped drying temperature to remove moisture from Jeans
and denim.
