They should never be allowed to sit or stand on any part
of the appliance.
• Never use your appliance for warming or heating the room.
• Do not use water on grease res. Turn off the cooktop
to avoid spreading the ames. Smother the re or
ames or use a dry chemical, baking soda, or foam-type
extinguisher.
• Storage in or on the appliance. Do not store ammable
materials near the surface units. Be sure all packing
materials are removed from the appliance before
operating it. Keep plastics, clothes, and paper away from
parts of the appliance that may become hot.
• Wear proper apparel. Never wear loose-tting or hanging
garments while using the appliance.
• Use only dry potholders. Placing moist or damp
potholders on hot surfaces may result in burns from
steam. Do not let the potholder touch hot heating
elements. Do not use a towel or other bulky cloth.
