CLEANING THE FILTER
When cleaning the filter, make sure to turn off the circuit breaker. No special tools are needed to clean it.
Air filter
Washable air filter captures large particles from the air. The filter can be cleaned with a vacuum
or by hand washing.
1. Open the front panel.
Hold the left part of the front panel and pull to open it. Then, release the Air filter from the
hooks that holds the filter and pull it towards you.
2. Clean the Air filter with a vacuum cleaner or in running water.
If dust is too heavy, use detergent in warm water. Do not scrub the filter to hard since it may
get damaged.
3. Dry the Air filter in a ventilated area.
Do not dry the Air filter in a place with direct sunlight.
4. Insert the Air filter back in its original position.
5. Close the front panel.
• Clean the clean the Air filter every two weeks. Cleaning term may differ on usage and
environmental conditions.
• When the Filter clean indicator
appears on the indoor unit display, check the
Air filter and clean it if it is dirty.
• Filter clean indicator will disappear when you press the Power button.
When you open the front panel, unhook the safety clips and remove the Air filter
After cleaning, hook the safety clips before closing the front panel.
