Unless they are older than 8 and supervised, children should not perform cleaning or
user maintenance.
This appliance is not a toy – children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to
possibility of ignition.
The appliance is intended only for heating food and beverages. Drying of food or
clothing and heating of warming pads, slippers, sponges, damp cloth and similar items
may lead to risk of injury, ignition or fire.
If smoke is observed, switch o or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in
order to stifle any flames.
The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the
temperature checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns.
Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in the appliance
since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
Keep the appliance and its power supply cord away from heat or sharp edges that could
cause damage.
Keep the power supply cord away from any parts of the appliance that may become
hot during use.
Keep the appliance away from other heat emitting appliances.
Failure to maintain the appliance in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of
the surface that could adversely aect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a
hazardous situation.
Care should be taken not to displace the turntable when removing containers from
the appliance.
Do not use metallic containers for food and beverages during microwave cooking.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not immerse the turntable in cold water directly after use – wait at least 20 minutes
to avoid the risk of cracking.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
Do not clean the appliance with a steam cleaner or water jet.
Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst connected to the mains power supply.
Do not remove the appliance from the mains power supply by pulling the cord; switch
it o and remove the plug by hand.
Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
Do not move the appliance whilst it is in use.
Do not touch any sections of the appliance that may become hot or the heating
components of the appliance, as this could cause injury.
Always use the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface, at a height that is
comfortable for the user.
This appliance should not be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote
control system, other than that supplied with this appliance.
This appliance is intended for indoor domestic use only. It should not be used for
commercial purposes.
