Setting up your speakers
1 Unpacking
Take care not to damage your Ruark speakers when
unpacking and take particular care not to press on the
speaker grilles or the drive units beneath.
Keep the packaging should your speakers ever need to
be moved, stored, or serviced in future.
2 Speaker grilles
The speaker grilles are held in place by concealed
magnets and can be removed by carefully gripping
around their edges and gently pulling them away
fromthecabinet.Theyoerprotectionindaytoday
use although sound quality is slightly more open and
transparent with the grilles removed.
3 Positioning
For best sound we recommend you mount your Sabre-R
speakers on good quality speaker stands, 60-65cm in
height and positioned 150-250cm apart with the rear of
the speakers 10-15cm from the rear wall.
They can also be sited on sturdy shelves or furniture
but avoid placing them in corners or alcoves as this can
severelyaectthetonalbalance.
Your Sabre-R provide excellent sound dispersion, but for
the best stereo imaging we recommend placing them
equidistant from your listening position as shown below.

We recommend tting the supplied self-adhesive
silicone feet to the base of each speaker to provide
isolation and reduce the risk of them slipping.
