3.2. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and
ambient humidity should not exceed 85%. Place the unit
in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain a
minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit.
Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always operate
the unit on a level, stable, clean, reproof and dry surface
and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired
mental, sensory and intellectual functions. Place the unit in
such a way that the mains plug can be reached at any time.
Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds to
that specied on the identication plate!
Before rst use, the GN containers should be washed.
ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
Before use, the glass cover must be installed in the device.
To do this, follow the steps described below:

3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION
1) Screw the support [3] to the housing with two
screws.
2) Install two longitudinal bars to support the top of
the glass cover. Unscrew the nuts and insert the
threaded ends of the rods [4] through the holes in
the support.
3) Slide the rear glass cover [2] into the side support [3].
4) Attach the second side support (3) to the unit with
screws, aligning it with the rear glass cover (2) and
the longitudinal support rods (4).
5) Slide the top of the glass cover (1) over the side
supports (3) and the support bars (4).
6) Secure the connections of the longitudinal bars with
the side supports by tightening the nuts of the bars.
NOTE: Do not over-tighten the nuts as this may
damage the glass.
DRAIN TAP
Install the drain tap before use.
CAUTION! Before installing the drain tap, it should be
sealed by winding some teon tape around the tap thread.
3.3. WORKING WITH THE DEVICE
1) Make sure that the device is disconnected from the
power supply. Remove the GN containers and ll the
device tank with water so that the heating elements
are submerged under its surface.
2) Set the temperature control knob (thermostat) to
the „0“ position and insert the plug into an electrical
outlet.
3) Set the desired temperature using the knob.
4) After the device has reached the desired
temperature, the GN containers can be lled with
warm food. Close the GN containers with lids. Lids
are designed to keep the food warm and clean.
NOTE: It is recommended to set the lowest possible
temperature, one which keeps the food ready to be
served immediately.
NOTE: The unit will automatically regulate the water
temperature in the tank. If the temperature drops
below the desired value, the heater will turn on
again and turn o when the set water temperature is
reached.
5) Always after nishing work with the device,
remember to set the thermostat to „0“ and
disconnect the device from the power supply.
6) After cooling down to room temperature, drain the
water from the device using the drain tap. Place a
suitable vessel under the tap.
7) Regularly clean the water tank and the heater.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down
completely before cleaning, adjusting or replacing
accessories and when the unit is not in use.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning
the surfaces.
c) Only mild detergents designed for cleaning food
contact surfaces may be used to clean the unit.
d) After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well
before the unit is used again.
e) Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from
moisture and direct sunlight.
f) Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or
immerse it in water.
g) Make sure that no water enters through the
ventilation openings in the casing.
h) Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and
compressed air.
i) Perform regular inspections of the unit checking
technical tness and any damages.
j) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
k) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire
brush or metal spatula) for cleaning as they may
damage the surface of the unit material.
DISPOSAL OF USED UNITS.
At the end of its useful life, this product should not be
disposed of with normal household waste but should be
taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment. This is indicated by the symbol
on the product, operating instructions or packaging. The
materials used in this appliance are recyclable according
to their marking. By reuse, recycling or applying other
forms of use of waste machines, you make a signicant
contribution to the protection of our environment.
Your local administration will provide you with information
about the appropriate disposal point for used appliances.
