WHAT TO DO IF…

IMPORTANT As soon as your vacuum cleaner starts to malfunction, and before performing any

checks: stop the appliance by pressing the start/stop switch and unplug it.

Your vacuum cleaner will not start or does not suck.

• The appliance is not connected: check that the appliance is correctly plugged in.

• Either a tool or the tube is blocked: unblock the tool or the tube.

• The dust container is badly positioned: refit it properly.

Your vacuum cleaner’s suction power is defective, noisy, whistles.

• An accessory or the vacuum inlet is partially blocked: unblock the accessory or the vacuum inlet.

• The dust container is full or clogged with fine dust: empty it.

• The foam filter and/or the microfilter or the HEPA filter are saturated: clean the foam filter or the

HEPA filter and replace the microfilter.

The power control* is in the min.

when vacuuming delicate fabrics).

• The vacuum head is hard to move: check the head position (smooth floor or carpet setting)

and/or reduce vacuum power using the power controller.*

If a problem persists, take your vacuum cleaner to the nearest Rowenta Approved Service Centre.
