The Compact C40 is backwards compatible

with any SeeSnake monitor to record and

distribute inspections� The CS6x Versa is

speciﬁcally designed to mount on the dock-

ing system for viewing ease, quick setup,

and effortless transport�

TruSense

Technology Description

TruSense technology establishes a two-

way communication link between the cam-

era head and a connected CSx series Wi-Fi

enabled monitor� Advanced on-camera sen-

sors convey valuable information about the

in-pipe environment�

Included TruSense Sensors

TiltSense™

The TiltSense inclinometer measures the

camera’s degree of tilt and displays it on a

CSx series Wi-Fi enabled monitor, giving

you a useful indicator of the camera’s angle

as it lays inside the pipe�

HDR Image Sensor

The high dynamic range (HDR) image sen-

sor expands the camera’s dynamic range,

allowing a greater ratio of bright and dark

areas to be displayed in the same image

without reducing visibility�

Compact C40

camera reel offers fast, easy setup and can

take on the most diverse and demanding

inspection conditions� The Compact C40

DSL comes with a digital self-leveling cam-

era head to keep the camera’s image level

as it moves through the pipe, providing ul-

tra-smooth viewing with no moving parts�

Both systems use a push cable stiff enough

to give you the power to push through small

or restricted pipes, yet ﬂexible enough to

make multiple tight turns�

The FleXmitter

sonde helps locate points of

interest in the pipe� FleX¬mitter sondes have

long, powerful antennas capable of putting

out a signal strong enough to pinpoint the

camera’s location underground, while still

preserving its ﬂexibility through turns�

Compatibility

To access all the Compact C40 features,

including digital self-leveling on the Com-

pact C40 DSL, use the camera with any

SeeSnake monitor currently available for

purchase� These include the SeeSnake

CS6x Versa, CS65xr, and CS12x monitors,

as well as the CSx Via mobile inspection de-

vice�

Compact C40 DSL and Compact C40 Overview

NOTICE

Compact C40 is used to refer to both the Compact C40 and the Compact

C40 DSL throughout this manual. The Compact C40 DSL includes a digital

self-leveling camera head, while the Compact C40’s camera head levels

mechanically. The products are otherwise functionally identical.
