"There is no
response from the
scanner. There may
be a number of
reasons for this,
e.g. the data
between the
computer and
scanner has been
lost because of an
increase in network
traffic, the firewall
in the virus
protection software
may be activated,
or there might be
problems with the
hardware etc. If you
can not fix this
problem, please
call service."

computer to allow communication of the
application used, or disable the firewall

Connection Tool
when SNMPv3
encrypted
communication is

Register the SNMPv3 authentication
information in Network Connection Tool
that is installed on the computer with the
TWAIN driver. For the SNMPv3
authentication information, consult your
network administrator (or custom-
privileges administrator who has
equivalent privilege).
