Emptying the Dust Cup
When dust in the dust cup reaches the MAX
line, empty the dust cup.
Do not overfill the dust cup. If the dust cup is
too full, it may affect the performance of the
vacuum.

Turn the vacuum off. Detach the vacuum
handheld/body from the wand by pressing the
vacuum body release button.

Hold the dust cup over a trash can and press
the dust cup Release Button (Figure 3.6). Use
caution, as the door will automatically open
when the release button is pushed.
Note: Holding the dust cup inside a trash
can prevents dust from spilling out.

Empty out debris and dirt, then close the door.
Note: Dust cup can be emptied by
rotating clockwise and removing the dust
cup (Figure 3.7). Empty out any dust and
debris. Reattach the dust cup to vacuum
body by rotating counterclockwise until
arrows align and dust cup locks in place.

Warning:
• Only charge the battery with the
charger specified by Riccar.
• If you are not using the battery for
an extended period, store it in a cool,
dry place.
• Store the battery in a semi-charged
state (at least half charged) and
maintain this by charging the battery
every 3 months.
